Terms of Use
What you agree to by using Staffkey, as a candidate or as an employer.
Version 2026-10-04 · updated 4 October 2026
This document is a draft. It still contains 2 placeholders that a lawyer has to replace. The production build refuses to ship while any remain.
1. Who we are
Staffkey is a hospitality recruitment platform operated by Ira Hospitality, a company registered in India with CIN [[PLACEHOLDER: CIN]], at Rd. No 36, Apurupa Turbo, JK Business Park, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad 500033, Telangana.
In these terms, "we" and "us" mean that company. "You" means whoever is reading — a candidate looking for work, or an employer looking for staff.
2. What the platform does
We hold profiles of hospitality workers and show them to employers. An employer searching sees a masked profile: Staffkey, role, experience, and locality, and no part of the candidate's name — not even initials. They see a name and a phone number only after they choose View profile on that profile, and the candidate is told when they do.
We are not your employer and we are not an employment agency. We do not guarantee that an employer will contact you, that a job exists, or that a candidate will take it.
3. Accounts
A candidate account is opened against a mobile number you have proved you control. An employer account is opened against an email address you have proved you control, and is unverified until an operator has checked the company's registration documents. An unverified employer can post a vacancy, and can see no candidate data of any kind.
You are responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us at ops.staffkey@gmail.com if you think somebody else is using it.
4. What you may not do
- Represent a company you do not work for.
- View profiles to build a list to sell, rent, or pass on.
- Contact a candidate about anything other than work.
- Upload a document that is not yours to upload.
- Use anything automated to read this platform in bulk.
We close accounts for these, and we keep the audit trail of why.
5. Plans
An employer pays for viewing candidates' full profiles through a plan, at the prices shown in their account before they choose it, and is invoiced for it. One view of a candidate's full profile opens it to everyone on the employer's account for an access period shown in the account before each view (30 days at the date of these terms). Viewing the same candidate again within that period is not charged again; a view after it has ended is charged as a new view. Where a plan includes a number of profile views in a period, what is left is shown before each view, and so is what happens once it is used. If we charge for a view that did not work, tell us and we will put it right. [[PLACEHOLDER: plan renewal, cancellation and refund terms]]
6. Employment records
An employer who has viewed a candidate's profile can record that the candidate worked for them, and how it ended. That record is visible to other employers in a limited form. The candidate is told the moment it is filed and always has a right of reply that is shown beside it.
The Employment Record Policy governs this in detail and is part of these terms.
7. Our liability
We provide the platform as it is. To the extent Indian law allows, we are not liable for a hire that went wrong, a job that did not exist, income you did not earn, or anything an employer or a candidate did to the other.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Ending it
You can close your account at any time — a candidate from their account page, an employer by writing to us. We may close an account that breaks section 4. What happens to your data afterwards is in the Privacy Policy.
9. Law
These terms are governed by Indian law, and the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have exclusive jurisdiction.
10. Changes
When we change these terms materially we bump the version at the top of this page, and you are asked to agree again the next time you sign in. We do not change them quietly.
